CHOCOLATE CRINKLE COOKIES
INGREDIENTS
Flour - 2 cups
Sugar - 2 cups
Cocoa Powder - 1 cup
Oil - 1/2 cup
Eggs - 4
Vanilla Essence - 2 Tsps
Baking Powder - 2 Tsps
Powdered Sugar - 1/2 cup
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180*C for 15 minutes
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside
Sift flour and baking powder together and set aside
Sift the cocoa powder separately
To a bowl add in rest of the ingredients except powdered sugar and mix well
Gently fold in the flour mixture
When it rolls up into a dough like consistency place it in another bowl
Cover bowl with cling film and chill for two hours
With an ice cream scoop take equal portions of the dough
Shape into balls and roll the balls into powdered sugar and arrange on the prepared baking sheet
You can roll the balls twice in powdered sugar if liked
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 - 25 minutes
Transfer to a wire rack to cool and serve
Notes:
Timing might vary with different brands of ovens available in the market
