CHOCOLATE PLUM CAKE

CHOCOLATE PLUM CAKE 

INGREDIENTS 

Flour - 1 cup
Brown Sugar - 3/4 cup
Cocoa Powder - 3 Tbsps 
Cinnamon Powder - 1 Tsp
Baking Powder - 1/4 Tsp
Baking Soda - 1/4 Tsp
Seedless Raisins - 1 cup
Dates - 1/2 cup
Prunes - 1/2 cup
Butter Softened - 100 gm
Orange Zest - 1 Tsp
Juice of 1 Orange 
Honey - 1/2 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Eggs - 2
Rum - 1/2 cup


METHOD 

Preheat oven to 160*C for 15 minutes 
Sift all of the dry ingredients together 
To a pan add all of the ingredients except flour baking powder baking soda cinnamon powder and eggs
Boil till the raisins prunes and dates are soft
Set aside to cool at room temperature 
Break in eggs one by one and beat well
Fold in the dry ingredients and cinnamon powder gently 
Pour into the prepared cake tin 
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 - 40 minutes 

Notes: 
Timing might vary with different brands of ovens available in the market 
I soaked the fruits in rum for a week and then added to the ingredients in pan
