BROCCOLI STIR FRY


BROCCOLI STIR FRY 

INGREDIENTS 

Broccoli - 1
Onions  - 2 
Green Chillies - 3

INGREDIENTS TO GRIND 

Coconut Grated - 1 cup
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp 
Red Chilli Powder - 2 Tsps
Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp 
Garlic Pods - 2
Salt - To Taste

Coarsely pulse or grind the above ingredients in a mixer 

INGREDIENTS TO TEMPER 

Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp 
Curry Leaves - 1 Sprig 

METHOD 

Wash clean broccoli and chop florets
Chop fine onions and green chillies 
Heat oil in a pan and add ingredients to temper 
Once they splutter add in the chopped onions and green chillies 
Sauté until onion turns transparent 
Add in the broccoli and salt to taste
Sauté for a few minutes
Add very little water if necessary 
Cover and cook until soft
Add in the ground masala
Sauté until the mixture turns a little dry
Remove pan from stove 
Serve hot as side dish with rice or rotis 

Notes:

Adjust spices to suit your taste 
I used a medium sized broccoli
