HOMEMADE BAKED MINI DONUTS




HOMEMADE BAKED MINI DONUTS 

INGREDIENTS 

Flour - 1 cup
Baking Powder - 1 Tsp
Melted Butter - 2 Tbsps 
Granulated Sugar - 1/2 cup 
Vanilla Essence - 1 Tsp
Cinnamon Powder - 1/8 Tsp 
Milk - 1/2 cup
Egg - 1

METHOD 

Preheat oven to 180*C for 15 minutes 
Grease a donut pan or silicone mould with melted butter 
Sift all of the dry ingredients together 
To milk add beaten egg vanilla and butter
Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients 
Spoon batter into greased donut mould evenly or transfer batter to a pastry bag and pipe inside the donut mould
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes 
Remove donuts from the donut pan

INGREDIENTS FOR GLAZING 

Cinnamon Powder - 1/2 Tsp 
Powdered Sugar - 1/4 cup
Butter - 3 Tbsps 

OTHER TOPPINGS 

Thick Sugar Syrup - As Required 
Chocolate Ganache - As Required 
Sprinkles - As Desired

METHOD 

Melt the butter in a saucepan in low flame 
Mix cinnamon powder and sugar in a bowl 
Dip donuts into the melted butter 
Dip into cinnamon sugar and serve
Other toppings were chocolate ganache and thick sugar syrup with and without sprinkles 

Notes:

Timing might vary with different brands of ovens available in the market 
Though I used a silicone mould to bake I greased it with butter
