MANGO FALOODA WITH MANGO RABRI


MANGO FALOODA 

INGREDIENTS 

Mango Rabri - 1 cup
Mango Ice Cream - 4 scoops
Soaked Sabja Seeds - 1 Bowl
Falooda Sev - As Required 
Mango Jelly - 1 pkt
Pistachios & Almonds - To Garnish 

METHOD 

Chop almonds and pistachios.
Prepare jelly as per packet instructions and refrigerate till set
Prepare mango rabri ahead of time and chill
Place a scoop of ice cream at the base of a tall glass 
Start placing the other ingredients like soaked basil seeds sev mango jelly mango rabri and ice cream
Garnish with chopped nuts and enjoy 

Notes:
I have not used rose syrup for this is a mango falooda 
I used ordinary sev as I didn’t have falooda sev 
You can place ingredients as you would like and enjoy your glass of falooda 

MANGO RABRI 

INGREDIENTS 

Mango Purée - 1 cup
Milk - 1 litre
Sugar - 3 - 4 Tbsps 
Cardamom Powder - 2 Tsps
Saffron - A Pinch ( optional )
Warm Milk - 2 Tbsps 

METHOD 

Soak saffron in 2 Tbsps of warm milk
Boil milk and reduce to half the quantity 
Add sugar and continue to simmer till half 
Add cardamom powder and mix well
Add soaked saffron and mango purée
Stir till well mixed and remove pan from stove
Cool at room temperature and refrigerate 

Notes :

Adding chopped nuts of your choice is optional while using Rabri for Falooda.
