DATES AND CARROT CAKE

INGREDIENTS 

Eggs - 2
Oil - 3/4 cup
Maida - 1 cup
Powdered Sugar - 3/4 cup
Grated Carrots - 1 cup
Chopped Dates - 1 cup
Caramel Syrup - 1/4 cup
Baking Soda - 3/4 Tsp
Cinnamon Powder - 1/4 Tsp
Vanilla Essence - 1 Tsp 

METHOD 

Preheat oven to 180*C for 15 minutes 
Line and prepare a cake tin 
Sift dry ingredients and set aside
Break eggs and add to the powdered sugar 
Beat until well combined and add the oil
Beat till mixture is fluffy 
Add in the caramel syrup and vanilla essence 
Mix well and add the sifted dry ingredients 
Add in the chopped dates and grated carrots 
Fold in the cake batter gently 
Pour in the prepared cake tin 
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 - 40 minutes 

Notes:
You can skip cinnamon powder if you don’t like 
Time might vary with different brands of ovens available in the market
