WHEAT FLOUR COOKIES




WHEAT FLOUR COOKIES 

INGREDIENTS 

Wheat Flour - 1 cup
Baking Powder - 1/2 Tsp 
Baking Soda - 1/4 Tsp 
Powdered Sugar - 1/4 cup
Softened Butter - 1/2 cup
Vanilla Essence - 1 Tsp 
Milk - 3 Tbsps 

METHOD 

Preheat oven to 180*C for 15 minutes 
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper 
Sift all of the dry ingredients together 
To softened butter add the powdered sugar 
Beat well until light and fluffy 
Add vanilla essence and mix 
Fold in dry ingredients alternating with milk
Divide the biscuit dough into two 
Roll one part of the dough into a thick disc
Using a cookie cutter cut out the biscuits 
Repeat the same with the other portion 
Arrange them in the prepared baking sheet
Leave some space in between each biscuit 
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes 
Cool biscuits completely before storing

Notes:

Timing might vary with different brands of ovens available in the market 
Cardamom powder can also be used instead of vanilla essence 
I didn’t use a cookie cutter today just placed the cookie dough balls on the baking sheet and pressed the top with a fork.
