KULUKKI SARBETH 3 WAYS


KULUKKI SARBETH - 3 WAYS

GINGER KULUKKI SARBETH 

INGREDIENTS 

Ginger Juice - 1 Tbsp
Lemon Juice - 1 Tbsp 
Powdered Sugar - 1/4 cup
Soaked Basil Seeds - 2 Tbsps 
Chilled Water - 1 cup 
Slit Green Chillies - 2
Ice Cubes - As Required 

METHOD 

Put all the ingredients in a jar along with some ice cubes and shake vigorously 
Pour into a glass and serve immediately 
Add more ice while serving



CUCUMBER AND MINT KULUKKI SARBETH 

INGREDIENTS 

Cucumber Juice - 1/4 cup 
Lemon Juice - 1 Tbsp 
Mint Leaves - 4
Slit Green Chilli - 1
Chilled Water - 1 cup
Soaked Basil Seeds - 2 Tbsps 
Ice Cubes - As Required 
Salt - To Taste

METHOD 

Add all the ingredients in a jar with ice cubes 
Shake vigorously until well combined 
Serve immediately adding some more ice cubes 

GOOSEBERRY KULUKKI SARBETH 

INGREDIENTS 

Gooseberry - 1
Lemon Juice - 2 Tsps
Green Chilli - 1
Chilled Water - 1 cup 
Soaked Basil Seeds - 2 Tbsps 
Ice Cubes - As Required 
Salt - To Taste

METHOD 

Chop the gooseberry add some water and blend in a mixer
Strain and extract juice from the gooseberry 
In a jar add the gooseberry juice with rest of the ingredients and shake well
Serve immediately adding more ice cubes 

Notes:

The gooseberry I used was a large one
If the gooseberry is of medium or small size use two
The gooseberry I used was a hybrid variety so there wasn’t much tartness 
Salt can be omitted and sugar can be added if liked
