KULUKKI SARBETH - 3 WAYS




LEMON KULUKKI SARBETH 

INGREDIENTS 

Lemon Juice - 2 Tbsps 
Chilled Water - 1 cup
Lemon Slices - 2
Green Chilli - 1
Powdered Sugar - 1/4 cup 
Soaked Basil Seeds - 2 Tbsps 
Ice Cubes - As Required 

METHOD 

Add all ingredients in a jar
Shake vigorously until well combined 
Pour in a tall glass 
Add more ice cubes if desired 
Serve immediately 

Notes:

Adjust sweetness to suit your taste 



ORANGE KULUKKI SARBETH 

INGREDIENTS 

Chilled Orange Juice - 1 cup
Powdered Sugar - 1/4 cup 
Soaked Basil Seeds - 2 Tbsps 
Lemon Juice  - 1/2 Tbsp 
Green Chilli - 1
Mint Leaves - 3
Ice Cubes - As Required 

METHOD 

Tip in all the ingredients into a jar
Squeeze in the lemon 
Shake vigorously to combine 
Pour into a tall glass
Add more ice cubes if desired 
Serve immediately 

Notes:

Adjust sweetness to suit your taste 


STARFRUIT KULUKKI SARBETH

INGREDIENTS

Starfruit - 1
Green Chilli - 1
Chilled Water - 1 cup
Powdered Sugar - 1/4 cup
Soaked Basil Seeds - 2 Tbsps
Ice Cubes - As Required

METHOD

Extract juice from the starfruit and strain
Put in all of the ingredients in a jar
Shake vigorously until well combined 
Pour in a tall glass 
Add more ice cubes while serving

Notes:

I have not added lemon juice as the starfruit was sour enough
