CANTALOUPE ICE CREAM


CANTALOUPE ICE CREAM 

INGREDIENTS TO PREPARE FRUIT PULP 

Vanilla Ice Cream - 500 ml
Cantaloupe Fruit - 1 Medium Size
Sugar - To Taste

METHOD 

Remove seeds and scoop pulp from Cantaloupe fruit.
Add sugar to taste and blitz in a blender.
In a pan add the pulp and in medium flame cook till it’s slightly thick
Cool at room temperature and refrigerate for an hour
Add the chilled fruit pulp to the vanilla ice cream 
Whip for a few minutes until well combined 
Transfer to a container and freeze for 6 - 8 hours 

Notes :

Refer to homemade vanilla ice cream posted earlier 
Add sweetness to suit your taste
