CHILLI FISH

CHILLI FISH

INGREDIENTS 

Fish Fillet - 300 gm
Corn Flour - 1/2 cup
Plain Flour - 1/2 cup
Soya Sauce - 2 Tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp
Pepper Powder - 1 Tsp
Water - As Required
Salt - To Taste
Oil - To Fry

METHOD
Clean and cut fish fillets into bite size pieces
Mix rest of the ingredients except oil to a smooth batter
Marinate the fish pieces for 15 minutes
Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish pieces till crisp and golden

INGREDIENTS FOR SAUCE
Oil - 3 Tsps
Onion - 1
Capsicum - 1 small
Green Chillies - 3
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 Tsp
Pepper Powder - 1 Tsp
Corn Flour - 1 Tsp
Soy Sauce - 1 Tbsp
Chilli Sauce - 1 Tbsp
Tomato Sauce - 1 Tbsp
Spring Onion - 2 Tbsp
Coriander Leaves - 2 Tbsp
White Sesame Seeds - To Garnish

METHOD 

Mix corn flour in 3 Tbsps of water without lumps and make a slurry
Heat oil in a pan
Add the onion green chillies and capsicum and sauté
When the onion pieces are transparent add in the ginger garlic paste
When raw smell is no more add rest of the ingredients sauté
Add the corn flour slurry simmer for a few minutes
Pour hot sauce over the fried fish pieces and mix
Serve hot garnished with white sesame seeds
